The house was bought by a couple for several reasons:                                                                      First to please themselves and take a few weeks holiday there in the sunshine.                                        Secondly, to achieve rental income.

Having a passion for decoration, they asked us to give the house a refined, trendier and more luxurious feel, whilst at the same time adapting it to the requirements of renting.

We carried out the renovation in two phases:

Two years ago, we completely modified the ground floor by removing partition walls, changing floors and creating an open-plan kitchen with an adjoining dining area. We then created a large bookcase and television unit facing a cosy living area with a bed settee, a coffee table and armchairs; all opening onto the garden and in soft natural pastel colours.

The following year we totally transformed the first floor.

The bedrooms and bathrooms were refurbished in the same theme with more open and brighter spaces, turquoise and aquamarine touches and made-to-measure, well-adapted, cupboard spaces to make the most of every square centimetre.

We also worked on the entrance hall and the garden, and we changed the façade colour so that it would harmonise with the interior.

The whole property has become a very pleasant and functional place to live in, and it has met with overwhelming success in the opinion of the owners as well as the tenants – they all appreciate this top-of-the-range environment.
